Park City and the Great Outdoors

Stay near magical Park City

Spectacular Park City sits about 30 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, making for a perfect day trip before cozying up again in our downtown digs. Home to two world-class ski resorts (Deer Valley and Park City Mountain, now the country’s largest ski resort after merging with Canyons Resort) that feature that famously light Utah powder, Park City also offers exceptional food, endless recreation and memory-making magic. Aside from taking advantage of the nearly 7,300 acres of rugged terrain and 400 trails that offer world-class skiing and snowboarding, visitors also channel their inner Olympian while enjoying bobsled rides, touring the town in hot air balloons, sipping warming drinks while overlooking historic Main Street and getting rejuvenated at one of the town’s pampering spas.

The picturesque destination boasts more than 150 restaurants and bars and is home to a bounty of concerts, theater performances, Olympic sporting events and independent film screenings, including the world-renowned Sundance Film Festival. Better yet? Check “ski-in distillery” off your bucket list, whooshing in for a post-slope, handcrafted whiskey and vodka reward. (Park City offers a free, bio-diesel bus system, and parking is ample, too.)
